The Tcl/Java project actually consists of two distinct packages, called Tcl Blend and Jacl. Jacl is a self-contained implementation of a Tcl interpreter written entirely in Java. Tcl Blend is a Tcl extension that uses JNI to communicate with a Java interpreter.
Jacl은 전적으로 Java로 작성된 Tcl 인터프리터입니다. 자바의 모든 기능을 이용 가능하며, 제한된 Tcl의 명령어를 사용할 수 있습니다. Tk는 사용 할 수 없으며 대신 자바의 GUI 라이브러리(swt, swing...)로 대체 가능합니다.
